Birding Southern Ecuador. Larry and Jennifer Schmahl share their recent experience traveling between four Jocotoco Foundation lodges that showcase several forest types from dry tropical deciduous to high Amazon basin rain forest. They had the chance to learn about the geography and ecology of the southern Ecuadorean Andes and what birds make it their home. See the birds, critters, and people of southern Ecuador in their slideshow presentation.
