October Program – Solving the Global Warming Problem

At our October meeting, Craig Hover will give a presentation: Solving the Global Warming Problem.
Hover is a retired engineer. He believes that aggressive development of renewable energy sources is necessary for us to successfully meet the challenges of today’s national and global environment. He is the author of the book, A World to Come Home to: Ending Global Warming in our Lifetime. Copies of the book will be for sale at the meeting.

The Whittier Area Audubon Society meets at 7:30 pm on the third Thursday of each month from September through June at the Whittier Community Center. Location: 7630 Washington Avenue, Whittier, California. The Community Center is located at 7630 Washington Ave. (not be confused with Washington Blvd.), on the corner of Mar Vista St. and Washington Ave., in the City of Whittier, adjacent to the Whittier Public Library. Meetings start at 7:30 pm.
