Whittier Area Audubon observes social distancing practices

During this period, the Whittier Area Audubon will support social distancing practices and has canceled our April programs and events.  We will stay in touch and post blogs about our past spring time events and other photos that our members have in their photo libraries.  We will bring you updates you with news about our spring elections.

Please stay tuned by joining our e-mail list for the latest updates.

The second Saturday of the month we take a beginner bird walk in Whittier’s own lovely Sycamore Canyon preserve.  It’s a great way to learn about the birds in our area.

Interesting and informative speakers share their knowledge about birds, bird watching, and conservation of bird areas, the third Thursday of each month.

We take a monthly excursion to a nearby birding area on the Saturday after the third Thursday. September through June. Everyone is welcome to join us. We meet at the Whittier Community Center around 7:00am depending on our destination. Bring a lunch, water, birding equipment, and comfortable clothing for being out in the elements for the whole day!
